Some 47 million women worldwide could not obtain contraception as a result of supply chain and health care disruptions due to the pandemic. Marco Werman speaks to Dr. Tlaleng Mofokeng, the United Nations special rapporteur on the right to health, about her report this week to the United Nations General Assembly about how COVID-19 is affecting reproductive and women's health and why she wrote an amicus brief to the US Supreme Court on behalf of the Biden administration's challenge to the Texas abortion ban.
