UN Human Rights Council moves to monitor police 

In the wake of George Floyd’s killing, a group of African countries called for global accountability. More than a year later, their efforts have resulted in the approval of an independent mechanism to monitor police brutality toward people of African descent worldwide. Host Marco Werman explains.
