Playlist: Remixing Spring

Studio 360

A couple weeks ago, we gave you a challenge: we posted a dozen bird songs recorded by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and asked you to use them to create an original musical composition on the theme of Spring.

We received more than 100 compositions, ranging from classical to electronica, to jazz, even radio drama. Although we’d planned to announce the winner on this week’s show, we got so many entries that we need a little extra time to review them all.

We’ll reveal the winner on the show the weekend of April 6.

Meantime, here’s a playlist of all the music we received:

Want to try your hand at the challenge? Our contest deadline has passed, but you can still download the tracks and share your composition.

Thanks to everyone who shared their work with us!
